Loving the
Least of These

2019 June 17
Dear Prayer Partners:
There are so many things we want to share with you that it is hard to know where to start.
First, we are happy to say that Darin has finished his treatments; 35 radiation treatments and three chemo. We are so grateful to God for his sustaining grace that helped Darin walk this very difficult path and still maintain his testimony of faith. Thank you so much for your prayers. Please continue in your intercession for him and our family as we prepare for his follow up appointment with his oncologist on June 18th.
Second, due to Darin’s health as well as government regulations regarding our residence status in Canada, we have decided that it is necessary for us to return to Nova Scotia in order to maintain our access to our Canadian health care system. With this in mind, we have taken a step of faith and purchased a small cottage in the Windsor, NS area with possession date to occur in July. We want to affirm and confirm that this does not mean our work in Haiti is going to stop! If anything, it will be moving forward at a rapid pace but just look differently than we had originally thought. We anticipate that this new home will be our Canadian residence while we will still be maintaining the LTLT Guest House as a work site allowing us to travel in and out of Haiti in order to continue to oversee the rescuing of orphans, street children and child slaves and restoring them to Haitian families.
Lastly, we are praying and preparing to add to our LTLT ministry team, intern missionaries with the hope that they will help to provide on-site support, particularly during our absence. It is our conviction that despite the various difficulties we have been dealing with these past months, that our Lord is confirming His call to continue and even more forward in our efforts to see Haiti changed one child at a time.
This is not all there is to share! There is even more to update you on so please take time to read about more of these updates in our June 2019 Kucey Prayer Partners Newsletters.
