Lola Brickey

In February 2015, Lola Brickey was elected by the Board of General Superintendents to be the new Global Director of Nazarene Missions International.
Nazarene missions have been part of Lola Brickey’s life for as long as she can remember. "The Church of the Nazarene my father pastored in Springfield, Massachusetts, was the home church of Oscar and Marjorie Stockwell, missionaries to Mozambique," she said. "I was profoundly impacted by them and how our church prayed, loved, supported, and connected with them.”
Ms. Brickey began her journey in missions leadership in 1985 as a local Nazarene World Missions Society (NWMS) president. In 2001, she as elected president of Nazarene Missions International (NMI) for the Eastern Kentucky District, a position she held for 14 years. In 2007, she was elected to the Global NMI Council representing the East Central region and served as vice president. She was also the NMI representative to the General Board of the Church of the Nazarene.
Brickey's leadership abilities have been enriched by working for a large multinational company, in local volunteer positions, and as a college instructor. She is the daughter of a Nazarene pastor and is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and is a graduate of Morehead State University with a Master of Business Administration degree. She and her husband, Frank, are the parents of two adult children.
