Prayers for Stefania
December 6th 2011
We are busy preparing for Christmas here in Romania and are enjoying the Advent season. Today is St. Nicholas Day and many Romanian children woke up to find some small gift or candy in their shoes. We are heading to Transylvania this weekend to celebrate the 3rd Sunday of Advent together with the believers there.
We wanted to pass along an update on something we shared with CCD back in June.
At NMI Convention in June we gathered around and prayed for healing for Stefania, a woman in Bucharest who is suffering from cancer. She became a believer while lying in the hospital bed next to Irina (Baby David's Mom) last summer. Stefania had several very invasive surgeries this fall, but praise the Lord, she has been able to start attending church again. Just a few weeks ago she was baptised in the Bucharest Church during a Sunday morning service. Last Sunday Stefania testified to Lord's grace in her life and she thanked the Lord for the new family He has given her in Christ. Thank you for praying for her!
Blessings,
Tammy and Terry
